Demographic sketches of six African American communities: two in Dekalb County, Georgia (one rural and the other in the small village of Lithonia); one in Covington, Georgia (a county seat); one in Marion, Alabama (a county seat), one in Marietta, Georgia (a large town); and one in Athens, Georgia (a city). The study was conducted by seniors at Atlanta University and incorporates data from 920 individuals. (The collection has another copy of this report in volume 85 [no. 3].)
