The feature article in this issue is “The Negro’s Attitude towards Social Equality” by William Pickens. The issue also contains an article on Mound Bayou, Mississippi, and includes photographs of Isaiah T. Montgomery, the bank, a store, and several citizens. In addition, the issue contains an article entitled “The Growth of the Niagara Movement” by W. E. B. Du Bois.
