Whole issue of a monthly magazine for African Americans. This issue contains a brief article entitled “Idleness and Degeneracy of the Whites” in which Richard H. Edmonds, “a “Negro hater,” criticizes white youth in the South. Another article weighs “Both Sides of Berea College Troubles” concerning the education of black and white pupils in the same institution.
