Whole issue of a monthly magazine for African Americans. This issue contains a short article concerning the dismissal of three companies from the U.S. Army after a racial incident at Brownsville, Texas. Sergeant Mingo Sanders, the senior non-commissioned officer in the unit, was a year and a half away from retirement after more than twenty-five years of service when the unit was dismissed.
