Whole issue of a monthly magazine for African Americans. Someone, probably Mr. Stone, has noted the last article in this issue, a short piece entitled “Prejudice against Negro Soldiers.” It concerns the racial incident in Brownsville, Texas, after which President Roosevelt dismissed an entire battalion of black soldiers for their part in the affair.
