11. The Colored American Magazine 7 (August 1904): 525-566.
Whole issue of “a monthly illustrated magazine devoted to the interests of the Colored Race.” The magazine is illustrated with photographs and displays advertisements in the front and back. This issue contains a sketch of Theodore Roosevelt by Robert H. Terrell, which someone, possibly Mr. Stone, has marked to note sections dealing with the admission of black applicants to civil service examinations.
