Demographic sketches of six African American communities: two in Dekalb County, Georgia (one rural and the other in the small village of Lithonia); one in Covington, Georgia (a county seat); one in Marion, Alabama (a county seat), one in Marietta, Georgia (a large town); and one in Athens, Georgia (a city).
