Catalogue for the Hampton Normal and Agricultural Institute, a school for African American students. The catalogue contains a dozen photographs of the campus and students engaged in various vocational activities (e.g., plastering, shoe-making, sewing, etc.). A map of the campus is tipped in on page 25. The names of almost 1400 students are listed on pages 74 through 105.
