Monograph that takes exception with Professor Bledsoe’s assertion that slavery is a blessing. (Bledsoe’s anti-abolitionist argument was based on Biblical texts.) The writer warns Southerners that they will instigate a civil war if they fail to take steps to end slavery on their own.
