Monograph consisting of three parts. The first part surveys the introduction of machine methods of farming (11 pages). The monograph is laden with data and has an index. As the author states in a preface, “In the preparation of the paper I have been careful to avoid trying to prove a theory, preferring rather to let the data tell their own story.”
