Catalogue for the Hampton Normal and Agricultural Institute. The catalogue contains a half-dozen woodcuts of campus life. The names of faculty and over 250 students are listed on pages 6 through 16. The scores and lyrics for four “cabin and plantation songs” appear at the end of the pamphlet. They are preceded by a one-page description of slave music by Thomas O. Fenner.
