49. Mary A. Greene, “Results of the Woman-Suffrage Movement,” Forum (June 1894): 413-24.

Legal history of women’s suffrage, beginning with the enfranchisement of women in the Wyoming Territory in 1869. The author provides detailed information in regard to the amendments and statutes passed by various states in order to assist proponents of the women’s suffrage movement by familiarizing them with “the constitutional limitations of the legislatures, so that the laws that shall extend to women full political rights may be settled on such firm foundations that they cannot be overturned when the courts shall be obliged to pronounce upon their constitutionality.”
