Whole issue of a periodical containing articles related to the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The first is entitled “Is the Book of Genesis Inspired, or a Compilation of Ancient Legends?” by J. S. Flipper. J. P. Sampson has contributed an article entitled “Heredity and Spontaneity,” in which the author discusses the evidence for and against the inheritance of intelligence, among other attributes. Mr. Stone has written “See Pages 420, 436, 444-447” inside the front cover but has not marked any passages on those pages. The title on page 420 is a short piece of fiction by Alice Ruth Moore set on the Bayou St. John in New Orleans, Louisiana.
