Three addresses: the first delivered at the Convention of Colored Men in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 24, 1883, another in 1885 at a meeting commemorating the twenty-third anniversary of the abolition of slavery in the District of Columbia, and the last at the same event a year later (1886). (The collection has another copy of this pamphlet in volume 16 [no.17].)
