Whole issue of a periodical devoted to topics such as women’s rights, temperance, prison reform, opposition to capital punishment, unsectarian religion, literature, and radical politics. Mr. Stone has noted the page numbers of three articles on the front cover. They include an editorial in favor of black suffrage, an editorial denouncing racial prejudice as it affects African Americans, Native Americans, and Chinese immigrants, and the account of a ceremony in Boston, Massachusetts, celebrating ratification of the Fifteenth Amendment. Advertisements appear on both sides of the back cover and last page.
