Defense of an earlier article entitled “The African in the United States,” in which the author asserted that African Americans are increasing in population faster than they are advancing “in education and wealth.” The author foresees “disastrous social disorders” resulting from the white response to pressure being exerted by the increase in the number of African Americans unless they are totally segregated or returned to Africa.
