Publication as described by the title. Mr. Stone has marked several passages, particularly those related to the restoration of good relations between the North and South. He marked a passage concerning emancipation in Jamaica with special emphasis. “The danger is, that Southern planters, unless warned by the terrible example of Jamaica, will nourish the hostility of races, and attempt to keep the negro in his old place.” An alphabetical list of approximately 900 members of the New England Society who reside in New York City is included.
