The Leaf River Regular Baptist Church of Christ was organized on September 10, 1849, and joined the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Association that same year. In 1889 the church joined the New Liberty Baptist Association which became the Smith County Baptist Association in 1919.

This collection consists of two volumes of minutes of church conferences, loose-leaf minutes dated 1876, 1877 and 1903, and a deed for church property dated 1899. Included in the minute books are membership lists.
