The Gateway Rescue Mission, Jackson, was organized in 1948 and still continues as a non-denominational mission for the poor and transients. This collection of papers contains the organization meeting minutes, September 22, 1948, and a few other minutes to October 12, 1957. Included also is a set of by-laws, 1960, which were never adopted, and some printed material concerning the mission and its work. There is one sheet of architectural drawings of the floor plan of the new mission building, 1964.
