Miss Hederman was supporting Mrs. Lansoy's son, Daniel, through the Fatherless Children of Europe movement. Daniel Lansoy's father had been killed in the war in 1915, and Mrs. Lansoy was writing to thank Miss Hederman. Included is the letter and envelope, a typescript copy, and a newspaper clipping.
