The paper was written and presented by Mr. Ash at the memorial service held October 8, 1961, on the site of Midway Church, which was founded in 1811 near Centreville, Mississippi. The text is fifty-one pages and there is a short introduction along with a list of memorials and pastors from 1811 through 1961.
