Manuscript and three typed copies of "Uncle Scipio's War Story," written by Alma Ratliff Gray, Hazlehurst, and submitted to The Youth's Companion competition of 1890–1891 for the best folklore stories. There is an addenda which explains how the story came to be written, and some biographical information concerning Mrs. Gray.
