Microcopy of the Vestry Minutes, Parish Register, and the Guild Account Book of Christ Church, Church Hill. Established in 1820, Christ Church is the oldest parish in the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi. The vestry minutes begin on March 27, 1826, and end on February 13, 1955. The records in the Parish Register are as follows: Baptisms, April 13, 1828–September 11, 1966; Confirmations, April, 1842–March 13, 1966; Marriages, April 27, 1829–October 22, 1961; Funerals, December 23, 1831–December 30, 1966, and list of communicants, with remarks, and some dates of first confirmations. The activities of the women of the Parish are reflected in the account book of the Guild.
