Typescripts of seven articles written by R. B. Henderson, Holly Springs, concerning Byhalia. Most of the articles have appeared in newspapers in North Mississippi. Five of the pieces concern the present and past history of the town of Byhalia, including histories of the schools and churches. Two articles concern Civil War engagements in and around the community of Byhalia. Also included is a survey of post offices in Marshall County, giving names of postmasters, and the dates service began.
