Typewritten copies of letters from John A. Wilson to his wife, Elizabeth, and his father. Wilson, a native of Alabama and resident of Crawford, served as a private in Company F, 35th Mississippi Regiment. He participated in the Battles of Iuka and Corinth and was killed June 11, l863, during the Siege of Vicksburg.
