Miscellaneous notes of Joseph S. Terry, who served as a private in the Eighteenth Regiment of Mississippi Infantry, C.S.A., and later as a lieutenant colonel in Frank P. Powers' Regiment of Cavalry. The notes contain some information on the Battle of Malvern Hill (July 1, 1862). Included are an obituary (printed) of Charles H. Hester and a letter, dated August 23, 1903, from A. T. Wolfe, Crystal Springs, to Miss Ruth V. Burnet, Terry, concerning Joseph S. Terry. The volume is 7.5 x 12.5 cm. in size and contains 52 pages.
