Letters and papers of Private J. B. Sanders, Company H, 37th Regiment of Mississippi Volunteers, C.S.A. Fifty-two letters are from Sanders to his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth B. Sanders, Garlandsville, Mississippi. The letters written in 1862, 1863, and early in 1864 are from Vicksburg, Grenada, Snider's Bluff, and Enterprise; most of the letters written in 1864 are from various places in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The miscellaneous papers for the period from 1881 to 1886 show that the Sanders family then lived at Lawrence.
