Diaries and miscellaneous papers of Captain John D. Rendall, Co. D, "Rodney Guards," 22nd Mississippi Infantry. The diaries begin with entries concerning the movements of the regiment to Rolling Fork and end with the parole in 1865 at Greensboro, North Carolina. Included in the collection are accounts of the regimental reunions from 1901–1910 written by W. C. Wells of Jackson.
