Letters and notes of Miss A. Lou Neilson of Oxford, a member of the Colonial Dames of America and a member and officer of the David Reese Chapter of the Mississippi Society of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Miss Neilson did much genealogical research for members of these organizations and for other persons throughout the United States. These papers (131 dated letters and 122 undated letters and notes) pertain almost exclusively to Miss Neilson's genealogical research. The collection contains a short history (4 pp.) of the David Reese Chapter by Miss Annie Boggs.
