Ninety-one pieces are "Certificates of Eligibility for Southern Cross of Honor of United Daughters of the Confederacy" for Confederate veterans of Jasper County. Included in the collection are three typewritten articles, apparently by Mrs. J. A. McFarland, Bay Springs, entitled "Outstanding Points of Interest—Jasper County," "Schools of Yesterday and Today," and "Writers and Musicians of Jasper County."
