Correspondence of R. M. Leavell, a Confederate soldier held prisoner by Union forces, to his wife, who lived in Pontotoc County. The letters are written from Johnson's Island, Ohio, and Fort Delaware, Delaware. Included in this collection are a few pieces of Confederate money and several Confederate stamps.
