Account book of the Chocchuma Land Company, which was formed on October 22, 1833, to bid for lands offered for sale at Chocchuma from October 21 to November 2, 1833. The men commissioned to do the bidding were Malcolm Gilchrist, Robert Jameson, Thomas G. Ellis, and Robert J. Walker. The volume contains part of the constitution of the company, names of the subscribers, lists and descriptions of land bought and sold, and recapitulation of accounts. The volume is 19.5 cm. by 32 cm. in size and contains 69 pages of accounts.
