These two volumes pertain to the cases tried before Chancellor Robert H. Buckner, Superior Court of Chancery of the State of Mississippi, of Edward Boisgerard and John Delafield, of New York, v. Samuel B. Doughitz et al. (No. 2649), v. Samuel Neill et al. (No. 2650), v. Hugh Campbell et al. (No. 2760), v. John A. Boyd et al. (No. 2667), v. Ira E. Williams et al. (No. 2669), v. John Williams et al. (No. 2668), v. Abram A. McWillie, et al. (No. 2654), and v. Brewster H. Jayne et al. (No. 2652), which grew out of the transactions of the Real Estate Banking Company of Hinds County. This company was organized on April 3, 1838, and had offices at Clinton.
The first fifty pages of each of the eight cases are made up of printed forms and material. The volumes are 19.5 by 29.5 cm. in size and contain 318 and 333 pages.
