BANK OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI RECORDS
1810 - 1844
Correspondence and records of the Bank of the State of Mississippi, which
was chartered on Dec. 23, 1809, as the Bank of the Mississippi; which was
rechartered on Feb. 4, 1818, as the Bank of the State of Mississippi; and
which was authorized on Dec. 19, 1831, to close its affairs and go out
of business. The bank was located in Natchez and had offices in Port Gibson,
Vicksburg and Woodville.
