County Records on Microfilm
in the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Collections
| These rolls are microfilm copies of records located in
county courthouses throughout Mississippi. Filming has been done
by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, private vendors,
and the Genealogical Society of Utah. The Mississippi Department of Archives and History can answer questions about the types of records found on the rolls of microfilm, but not about records in the courthouses. Titles of records may vary somewhat from county to county. Where it was possible to standardize the titles (as with Conveyance Records, Deed Books, and Deed Records all called "Deed Books"), this was was done. With other titles which are specific to a county, the titles are listed exactly as the county inventory recorded them. |
